Having said that, I did play around with my camera a bit more and even tried reading the manual: a real first for me. I'm usually of the philosophy: If at first you don't succeed, read the directions. Not that I'm not succeeding. But now I'm asking fundamentally more important questions, like "How do I adjust shutter speed?" "Where's the function for programming RAW images?" and "What the hell is ISO???" So you see, I'm actually learning a bit.
Here's my week in a nutshell: nature and playdates. (And the stressful house-hunting, but that's not the norm and was a fairly traumatic experience, so I won't talk about that here.) In my world, there's always time for play-dates. Someone else to entertain and amuse Evan = less work for me = more time for me to play with my new toy. Everybody wins. Don't you love my reasoning?
Play at your own risk

I rarely take my camera off of the automatic mode... I'm so afraid of screwing up the settings, even though I know that's a crappy reason.
ReplyDeleteThat last picture of Evan is just adorable!!
That boy has the bluest eyes! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love to play around with the settings on my camera. If I mess up, there is always the reset option. Have fun!

ReplyDeleteGlad you found some time to play with the camera! I never read the instructions either. When I'm desperate, I ask my husband to read them and tell me what he found out. He actually likes instructions!?

ReplyDeleteStacia: I do the same. And then I feel like a doofus because he learns how to use my "toys" better than me. And I don't like that. ;)
