My photo
I'm a hobbyist photographer, a school counselor, a health junkie, and a mom. But above all, I'm just a woman living my truth. My biggest happiness in life is to savour each moment while it happens. That's all. That's everything.

Real Life Breakfast - Captured

Some of the best things of the morning... cup of tea and my macbook.
(Don't be jealous. I earned it.)

It doesn't get more real than this... breakfast is an affair all on it's own, complete with dino guests at the table, action shots, and sound effects.

And there's Chloe, queen of the house of Wack. Yes, she's meowing at me. Why? Because it's what she does. She meows at people. I think she particularly enjoys meowing at Evan because it freaks him right out. They're terrified of each other, and yet drawn to each other: the classic love-hate take-swipes-at-each-other-when-WackyMummy's-not-looking relationship.

Enjoying the fruits of his labor (a treat--this time ice cream--for eating a nutritional breakfast).

He loves the sprinkles on his ice cream... he calls it "flavoring".
(Couldn't you just gobble him up?)

  3. I think I need to start eating ice cream for breakfast. Minus the nutritional part beforehand. It has protein...and dairy...and...delicious.

  12. we always have at least 2 sets of pitiful eyes staring at us at meals - with us it's our 2 dogs - luckily the cats usually don't show up to bug until we're sitting around watching tv. Very cute pics.

  18. I have two more of those and I love that their favorite place to hang out is at the kitchen counter demanding their sous chef, me, to create all sorts of concoctions for their pleasure.

Airplanes, trucks and balls are my life too.

Followed you over here from Scary Mommy's website. I love your photographs!

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.
